Administration
There is a general need to help administer the site, to help you will need an account.
Dead-End Pages
The primary need is to make sure all pages have links away from them and to them. To see what pages are not currently linked, please go to Special Pages and then select Dead-end pages. This will give you a list of pages not currently linked.
Edit the page and put double square brackets [ around words to create links to other articles. If when you save the page, the link comes up in red, that means the article you wanted to link to DOES NOT EXISTS. This may mean the link has not been created, but it may also mean that you have the spelling, pluralization or capitalization of the link wrong. You will need to search for the term to make sure you have it correct.
Its ok to leave a link in the red if you are SURE its not a spelling, pluralization or capitalization problems. This will encourage others to provide the information.
You will also then need to see of the page you are working on is referred to by other pages. To check this, enter the title of the page in the search box and press SEARCH (not go), this should show you a list of pages that use the term. Edit each of those pages putting the double brackets around the article term so that the pages can link to the article you are working on.
Categories
All lengthy documents, more then a few short sentences should be categorized. Creating categories isn’t difficult from a technical perspective, see the Cheat Sheet for the entry. However I'm sure it will take us quite a while to actually get the right set of categories figured out. So do your best, and try to use existing Categories when ever possible.
