Grimmwold is a server that really puts a new spin on Ultima Online and Roleplaying. It is rich with adventure for the average roleplayer, and a place to develop characters that create storylines, and are remembered in its history. ~ Marishka

Enjoy player and seer driven stories in a vibrant world that is easy to enter and designed to allow players the freedom to craft the world through character driven events. The world is based on a combination of Mythology, Lore and Adult Fairy Tales. We offer Nine Different Races: Human, Otherkin, Shades, Changelings, Goblins, Trow, Dwarves, Vampires, Gargoyles; Three Human Cultures: Pirates, Arabian Nights and Gypsies plus advanced races for those here a year. We have a class system with 11 classes, 15 levels each, and custom abilities per level. There are Six Player Run Towns: Briar Hollow, Ulster, Hamelin, Zanzibar, Nifol and Muckwater. NEWEST Race - Gargoyles NEW Race Options - We have recently released 3 new races; Vampires, Goblins and Trow. Screen Shots - It is our belief that you will not find a prettier world. We have tons of custom art, including wearables, kitchen craftables and over 100 new trees, not to mention some of the best homes and shops anywhere. Application - The application process is not complicated, nor do we expect you to write pages and pages of lengthy stories. The world is designed for you to learn the fiction as you play, not try and memorize difficult world history. Shard Design - This is our third shard. Grimmwold is a private free Ultima Online shard. We focus on roleplay, or RP was its called. Role-players will find an exciting and flexible fantasy world based on Grimm Fairy Tales, European Myth and Lore, and some modern children stories such as Narnia featured in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. However we are an adults only role-play game, privately hosted on our own online server. Ultima Online is an older MMORPG game created many years back by OSI and now owned be EA. For those who are fans of UO, and fans of RP, Ultima Online has maintained an incredible following both on the public servers and private shards such as ours.
